Bringing Christmas Back....just for a moment!

Although it's March, and spring is in the air, and the stores are selling chocolate Easter bunnies with little pink and white bows on them, I had to bring Christmas back for just a second. Playing catch-up is a hard thing to do, but hey, cramming 8 months of a child's life into just a few blogs is a challenging thing. I think with this last post, I will be caught up, and I can relax just a little, catch my breath, and enjoy the small moments of Josiah's life. Ha, well, maybe not, but I will try. =)

Christmas was absolutely wonderful with Josiah. His first Christmas came when he was six and a half months old. He loved everything, from the lights to the festivities, family faces, friends, and especially eating the wrapping paper. He had a marginal appreciation for his gifts, but the wrapping paper was definitely his favorite! I think his parents appreciated his gifts much more than he did. But, with the smiles, laughs, and funny expressions he gave, everyone knew he was thankful, not only for his first Christmas, but for all the attention and love he received. Jason and I also realized this Christmas how thankful we are to the Lord for our special gift of a son. He is such a joy! Sharing moments with him could not be traded for anything!

Just what a man needs....a fishing pole and a truck!

He is so sweet. We miss him in the nursery. I didn't know you had a new blog. Found you through We Wake Up laughing.
